We start in Queens, Astoria to be exact, where World Cup Fever is in full force. This rock appeared in the middle of the street one day and seems to exist solely to show national pride for the games.
Next we head to the Upper Eastside. The urge for a Laduree Macaron is a strong one. It overpowers me at least once a week and I can’t fight it.
Then down to the village as this Saturday was an important one. 45 years since the beginning of the Stonewall Riots.
You never know what you are going to stumble on… this time it was a music video shoot. Wish I had sound to add as they were spectacular!
Another NYC summer time tradition, the street fair! This Saturday was no exception.
Then back to Queens where the celebrations were spilling into the street.
Notice that Brazil added their mark while we were out exploring.
Just an average Saturday…
So, next time then…
